Buying from China through an agent – the complete guide
How buying from China through an agent actually works – QC, shipping, agents and more.
1. How ordering actually works
Find something in the catalog, hit the buy link, and it opens on your agent (MyCNBox by default). The agent buys the item from the marketplace seller on your behalf, receives it at their warehouse, takes QC photos for you to check, then ships it internationally once you approve. You pay the agent – never the site – and the whole flow is: find → agent buys → warehouse QC → you approve → ship.
2. What "QC" means and how to read it
Quality Control photos are pictures of your exact item taken at the warehouse before it ships, so you can check stitching, prints, logos, hardware and flaws. From the QC you can approve, ask for more angles, or request a refund. On Puro Classico, the QC tab on each product pulls real buyer QC photos so you can see the batch quality before you commit.
3. Picking a shipping line
Cheaper lines are slower and carry more risk; premium lines (DHL, EMS) are faster and more reliable. Heavier shipments get cheaper per-kilo, so consolidating several items into one haul usually saves money. Use the freight calculator in the Tools menu to estimate cost before you order.
4. Rep glossary – the words you'll see
W2C = where to cop (the buy link). Batch = a specific factory version of an item. GP = group purchase. Haul = a batch of items shipped together. 1:1 = as close to retail as it gets. QC = quality-control photos. Agent = the middleman who buys, stores and ships for you.
5. Staying safe and smart
Order plain, avoid obvious branding on the shipping label, and use trusted lines for your region. Keep haul values reasonable to limit customs exposure. Read the QC carefully – it is your one chance to catch a bad batch before it ships halfway around the world.
6. FAQ
Do I pay Puro Classico? No – you pay your agent directly. We only index finds and link out. Are prices exact? They track the live marketplace listing and can change. Why do some items have no QC? QC photos only exist once someone has already bought and inspected that item, so newer finds may not have them yet.

How to order
Never bought from China before? This is the whole process, start to finish. It's easier than it looks — once you've done it once, it's a five-minute routine.
1Pick an agent
An agent (or "shipping agent") is the middleman in China. They buy the item from the seller, store it in your personal warehouse, take photos so you can inspect it, and ship it to you. You'll need a free account with one. Grab a new-member coupon bundle first on the Welcome bonus page, then sign up.
2Find your item & tap Buy
Browse Puro Classico, open any find and tap Buy via your agent. The link opens the exact listing inside your agent's site, pre-filled — there's nothing to copy, paste or translate. Pick your size and colour on the agent page and add it to your cart.
3Pay the agent & they buy it
Pay your agent for the item (plus the small domestic China shipping from the seller to the warehouse). They place the order, receive it into your warehouse, and hold it there for free for a while — so you can pile up a few things before shipping.
4Check the QC photos
Before anything leaves China, the agent takes QC (quality-control) photos of your actual item. Inspect them: check the logo, stitching, colour, material and any obvious flaws. Happy? Approve it. Not happy? You can usually request more photos or a return/exchange while it's still in the warehouse.
- Logos & text crisp and correctly spelled
- Stitching straight and even, no loose threads
- Colour and material match the listing
- Hardware (zips, buttons) works and feels solid
5Ship & consolidate
When you've approved everything, submit a shipping request. Ordering a few items first and shipping them together (consolidation) saves a lot on international postage. Pick a shipping line — cheaper lines are slower, express lines are faster and pricier. The agent packs it and hands it to the courier.
6Receive it
Your parcel clears customs and arrives at your door, usually in 1–3 weeks depending on the line you chose. That's it — you've completed your first haul.
A few tips
- Start small. Do one cheap item end-to-end first so the process clicks before you spend big.
- Consolidate. Shipping is priced by weight/volume — combining orders is where you save.
- Check sizing. Asian sizing often runs small; read the listing's size chart, don't assume your usual size.
- Ask the community. Our Discord shares QC tips, hauls and which agents/lines are working best right now.
